A UN peacekeeping army is needed urgently to protect Palestinians

Israel is killing the Palestinians in spite of the so-called  peace brokered by the US.  Unless UN peacekeepers are deployed Israel will wipe out the people of Gaza by genocide and disease.  To see the youth of Gaza  who have survived, with missing limbs,  is sickening and utterly reprehensible.  World powers must take the blame for allowing this to happen.  The international community needs to restore and support UNRWA in Gaza, East Jerusalem and the West Bank.  Turkey needs support to seek peace in the Middle East.

The Palestinian people have been ignored.  Their treatment is barbaric and immoral. The US and the EU leadership have been complicit in this appalling scenario.  The British people have shown support for the Palestinians but the UK government has failed to highlight the lawlessness of the Israeli leadership.

Antisemitism is rising rapidly around the world as pictures from  Gaza show starved people living in ruins being targeted by Israeli snipers and drones. In Lebanon  people live in fear.   Even Syria has been targeted by Israel with the excuse that false intelligence led to Israel’s attack!

Israel  wants to destabilize the Middle East.  The response to October 7th has been totally disproportionate.   Israeli’s aim is to kill or displace  the people  from  the West Bank, Gaza and Lebanon.  Israel is greedy for land and power.  In every war that Israel has been involved in,  and there have been many,  land has been gained so why stop now?   The world looks on as day after day Israel targets civilians especially the youth of Gaza and Lebanon. The IDF joins settlers in prayer as these same settlers injure and kill Palestinians in the  West Bank.  Their aim, supported by Israel,  is to take Palestinian land and homes.

There have been many incidences of genocide worldwide right up to the present day.  Many races have been targeted.  Post- the World Wars,  resolutions were passed to try to avoid future  war  and genocide.  There have unfortunately been no world leaders, and political bias has failed the quest for justice.  In 1995 the UN  and Western governments  failed to stop the execution of Muslims in Srebrenica.  In 2026 the world is witnessing genocide in Gaza.

The Holocaust has not engendered Israeli sympathy for the oppressed, rather Israel is now trying to eradicate the Palestinians.  Israel continues in its attempt to destabilize Syria and would love to get anyone to attack Iran.  The Middle East has been inhabited at various times by Pagans, Christians, Jews and Arabs.  The Palestinians have every right to their land and must not be displaced for Jewish settlements. The illegal settlements must be taken over by the Palestinian Authority when peace is restored in the Middle East.

The US cannot control Netanyahu. Some of the Arab states are trying to balance affiliation with Arab states  and  various trade alliances with the US.  While Jordan and Egypt sympathize with the plight of the Palestinians they are now apparently obliged to  buy gas from  fields near Israel. The opening of the Hejaz railway will help the Syrian economy with its link to Saudi and Jordan.   Israel is now  however attempting to disrupt Arab alliances further by seeking to get a pipeline to run from Saudi Arabia  to the Mediterranean via Israel.

Turkey  has shown initiative and willingness to bring peace to the Middle East. Turkey’s leader has a good understanding of Trump,  telling him not to take Israel’s advice to get the northern Kurds involved in the US/Israel ill-fated war with  Iran.    If Netanyahu and his left wing government are removed,  Turkey  and Pakistan  could be capable of initiating a peace process that would involve getting  Iran, Hamas, Hezbollah, the Palestinian Authority, the US and Israel around a negotiating table.

Iran has the upper hand at present so could make peace with the US if certain objectives are  achieved.  The latter include the US lifting sanctions on Iran and removing the blockade.  Israel must be forced by the US  and the EU to leave the West Bank, Gaza, Lebanon and Syria.  Iran must agree  to reopen the Strait of Hormuz and agree  a nuclear deal.  The Palestinian Authority, Hamas and Hezbollah must agree to a Peace treaty with Israel however distasteful  that would be.  A UN peacekeeping army must be deployed in Gaza and the West Bank.  Compensation must be procured to rebuild Gaza.

If  peace is not found soon, the people in Gaza  will lose a generation of fine people due to lack of food, medicine, shelter, infrastructure and education.  The world is witnessing a second holocaust perpetrated by descendants of victims of the previous Holocaust.

Can anyone believe such a scenario could happen?  Is it credible that the US, EU and Britain have allowed this nightmare to evolve?   The  brave reporters  who film the unforgettable scenes in Gaza, the West Bank and Lebanon are risking their lives to show the world what Israel has done.  Israel must not be allowed to stop the peace initiative as has happened so many times.   The Palestinians can no longer be treated as inferior people.  World Powers must take some action before the Palestinians are completely eradicated.
