Starvation, displacement, lack of medicine, appalling injuries, murder. Children of Gaza will never recover from the trauma and starvation inflicted by Israel. Few mothers have been left alive. Contrast the fat and full IDF with the haggard inhabitants of Gaza.
How can Israel treat the Palestinian people like this? Whether Israel is following the New or the Old Testament the behaviour of its leaders is appalling and will never be forgotten. The kindest thing to be said about the Israeli government is that they are mentally deranged or taking drugs. This war is a totally unequal one.
How can world leaders stand by and do nothing? What hold does Israel have on the US? President Trump could never be awarded a Peace prize after the blatant partisan indulgence of Israel’s destruction of a nation and its people. Shame on Israel, the US, the EU and the UK. Why treat the Palestinian people with such contempt?
The UK at this late stage must insist on humanitarian aid entering Gaza, the removal of the IDF from Gaza and the removal of Israeli settlers from the West Bank. The EU must impose sanctions on Israel now. Money matters and only financial penalties can hit the Israeli government.
A fair two state solution must be found. Peace will never arise if a true world leader does not face down the Israeli government. Can the UK do this with help from France and perhaps Canada? The US has little credibility at this very late stage.
