The effects on life in Gaza are catastrophic. How will the Palestinian children ever get over this trauma? Israel has pulverized Gaza, has illegal settlements on the West Bank and now wants to wreck Lebanon. Lebanon has requested that Israel stops the war in Gaza as the condition of stopping Lebanon’s fightback. Why do world leaders hesitate to intervene? The US has no credibility. The EU as a unit has little credibility. Can the UK and France achieve a ceasefire and the departure of Israel from Gaza, the West Bank and Lebanon?
