BN and the Israeli cabinet have continued to kill and injure innocent civilians and healthcare workers in Gaza. The US has promised more ammunition for Israel to continue its killing, maiming and starving of Palestinians. TV pictures show well-fed, well-clothed Israelis while Palestinians are bombed, starving and homeless. Who can help them? Britain’s response has been very disappointing. After all, the UK has known that the siege of Gaza could not end well and there are some who suggest that Israeli personnel allowed Hamas to breach the boundary with Israel in order to commence war. Time will tell if the latter is true. Meanwhile Israeli citizens, many of whom do not support BN, must call for an immediate ceasefire in the name of humanity. Israel, who once lost so many people, has shown no compassion for the Palestinians. This must change even at this late stage.
